This Swiss specialty is called fil-coupé, lancé decoupé or simply in Swiss German “Scherli”. However it is named, the designs have all something in common: partly are the threads cut away. By this means, wonderful effects emerge from the grey good.
From up to 24 shafts, we produce fabrics up to a grey width of 340cm. The fil coupé is used for outer garments, home textiles and textiles for the African market. The method makes numerous combinations with other techniques and textures possible. The fabrics are woven in colours or as noble monochrome qualities.
